We celebrated Christmas and the New Year with love and peace, made possible through your support, help, and services. We truly do not know how to repay your kindness, but we want you to know that we, together with the families and children, prayed for you during the Christmas season, trusting that God Himself will reward you.

As we approach Christmas 2025, I have been receiving emails and handwritten letters reflecting moments of hope and moments of despair from Palestinians living in Bethlehem. Your support to these Palestinians is an expression of Love which creates ripples of Hope, often in the context of uncertainty and despair.  Following are excerpts from the letters that express the love they feel from their international partners who make their lives “just a little bit better.”

The Bethlehem Humanitarian Relief project of St Joseph’s Center has become like a circle of life that keeps revolving and does not stop unless one party withdraws.

Martin Luther King Jr. wrote in his 1963 letter from the Birmingham Jail: “We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people.” I feel this point is so pertinent today, and I’m glad to be part of such a vibrant, action-oriented church that wants to speak out.

All of the bills for Bethlehem Summer Camp 2025 have been paid; the resource gap was filled by unexpected and appreciate local assets as well as the international donations, including those from Epworth UMC.
