Ani Bukujian, violin, Saul Richmond-Rakerd, cello, Amy Zanrosso, piano with Caroline Lee, viola and So-Jung Kim, bass San Francisco-based Melos Trio combines virtuosic independence with refined, sensitive collaboration. Program will include Shostakovich Trio #2 in e minor and the beloved "Trout" Quintet by Schubert.

Hope Briggs has graced opera houses and concert halls around the world as well as around the Bay area where she resides. She was featured as the voice of Emma Hyers in the PBS documentary ‘Voices for Freedom- the Hyers Sisters Legacy.’ Ms. Briggs will be joined by SF Opera staff Robert Mollicone in a special MLK celebration program that includes operatic arias, spirituals, and songs by Barber and Burleigh.

Ethan Moffitt, bass; Adam Hersh, piano; Benjamin Ring, drums Ethan, Adam and Ben met playing in various bands and configurations in the LA jazz scene, but their chemistry and trust was evident from the moment they played together. We will be treated to the trio’s debut in the Bay area in a program of original works by the performers.
