The Epworth Sharing Network is a Google Group (list-serv) dedicated to eliminating waste, saving money and the planet, and connecting our community.

Examples of requests and offers include:

• Request: Exercise Ball Needed

• Offer: 2 sleeping bags to borrow for the long weekend?

• Request: Walking Boot for broken ankle

• Offer: Cat Tree & cat food

• Offer: Tire chains bought in a moment of panic and never used

• Request: Clipboards for my classroom?

• Offer: wood dresser available to a new home

• Advice needed: replacing french doors, floor sanding/finishing person

To join the Epworth Sharing Network:

Sign in to Google Groups with your gmail address: https://groups.google.com/my-groups (If you don't have a Gmail address, you can still join groups. You need to associate your email address with a Google Account. Create a Google Account without changing your email address.)

Search for the group:
At the top, click My groups and select All groups and messages. In the search box, enter the group’s name Epworth Sharing Network or email address epworthsharingnetwork(at)googlegroups.com press Enter. Click the group > Join group or > Ask to join group or Contact owners and managers.

 

If you click:
Ask to join group—Wait for an email confirming approval of your membership. Contact owners and managers—Complete and send the message to the group owners and managers to request membership. Then, wait for an email confirming approval of your membership. Anyone who can view the group’s members can see your Google profile.

 

If you don’t want your profile to be visible:
Uncheck the Link to my Google account profile box.
(Optional) To use a different display name, click Display name and enter the name.
For Subscription, select how to get email updates from the group.
