Youth Alive will lead a virtual tour of Oakland, sharing how they are engaged in intervention, prevention, and healing violence in the Town.

"If you're like me, I'm sure you have been saddened and disturbed by the surge in violence we're seeing in our communities. Instead of wallowing in despair and inaction, I decided to volunteer for an amazing Oakland organization called Youth ALIVE!, which works to end the cycle of violence and heal our community. Part of my role is hosting virtual “tours” of Youth ALIVE!'s mission: 45-minute zoom presentations where folks get to hear from those at the frontlines of reducing violence and learn about how Youth ALIVE!’s programs for violence prevention, intervention, and healing work.
