Vote Early

Submitted by Kellie Stoddart

I am grateful to serve on Church Council as the Outreach Ministries steward. For me, exercising my right to vote is one way I put my faith into action. I believe that our right to vote is at the heart of our democracy.  It is our chance to let those in power know our priorities. It’s as American as apple pie. We will receive our ballots by mail in early October for the general election on November 3.

To ensure that our votes count, please vote early.

Here at Epworth, we have many ways to cast our votes depending upon whether you live in Alameda or Contra Costa counties, you can find such as drop boxes & polling precincts near your home…or at Epworth church!

See above for the quick info.

Early voting in these ways lessens our reliance on the US Postal Service, but you still can MAIL your completed ballot.  Just do it sooner rather than later.

For information about what’s on the ballot, including propositions, you can visit Cal Matters, a nonpartisan nonprofit news organization.  Here’s the link: Click HERE.

Happy Voting! Spread the Word!
