Therefore, be it resolved, that the General Conference of The United Methodist Church be

called to repentance for its implicit and explicit participation and profit gained by slavery of

African Americans in the United States.

That local congregations participated in studies on reparations in their local area.

That every congregation write a letter of support for the passage of House of Representatives

Bill 40 and Senate bill 1083.
