Beloved Epworth Community,

Join us on Thursday, December 15, 4:00 PM, for a presentation by Debbie Weatherspoon.

Marking ten years since the Sandy Hook mass shooting, JustFaith presents a webinar exploring how to engage our faith in the public square, and the excellent work that has come out of heartbreaking tragedies.

About the speaker: Debbie Weatherspoon lives out her faith as a volunteer with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, as a board member of JustFaith Ministries, and as a United Methodist pastor (currently on a Leave of Absence). Debbie and her family live in Richmond, California, where her husband serves as senior pastor of Easter Hill United Methodist, a historic Black Church. Debbie is a candidate for a Doctor of Ministry at Wesley Theological Seminary, writing about Faith in the Face of Gun Violence. Recently, she completed the two-year Art and Practice of Spiritual Direction program at Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA.
