At Epworth, we continue to find meaningful ways to put Our Faith in Action—through worship, caring for one another, welcoming our neighbors, and standing together for justice in our community and beyond. As we look toward 2027, we're building on that work through our Vision for a Thriving Future. Our congregation has identified three priorities to guide us: deepening our life together, growing our reach and welcoming new neighbors, and creating a thriving church community for children, youth, young adults, and generations to come.
This is where your commitment comes in. We invite everyone to make a commitment of time, talent, and treasure to support Epworth's ministries in 2027. The act of making a commitment matters more than the amount or how often you give. Every commitment helps us plan confidently and invest in the people, programs, and ministries that bring our shared vision to life.
We also invite you to support the Black Wealth Builders Fund (BWBF) as a separate opportunity to put our faith into action through reparative giving.
Look for your Stewardship information packet in the mail! If we have your mailing address, you'll receive a letter and 2027 Commitment Card. We invite you to bring your completed card to worship on Commitment Sunday, November 15, at 10:00 am, when we'll celebrate our collective commitments together.
