Stephen Ministry: Caring Ministry for Life's Challenges

I was in the midst of a work transition. I lost my spouse and my best friend. I was suffering from conflicts in my family. I was experiencing illness. I was struggling with a move. I was confused about my life’s purpose.

In all of these circumstances and more, Stephen Ministers have supported members of our community.

Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one caring ministry that has been actively at work at Epworth since 1988. We meet you where you are – listening, reflecting what we hear, and, to the extent you are comfortable, praying with and for you. Our Stephen Ministers are trained to offer confidential, high quality caring to support you as you experience transitions or challenges in life.
