Music on the front porch: Redwood Virtuosi free outdoor concert
Did you know that there is an official "Play Music on the Porch" day?
This Saturday musicians all over the world will come out on their front porches to make music together for friends and neighbors. Due to popular demand, we will be adding our own porch concert this coming Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 4 pm.
We welcome back Redwood Virtuosi, with guest violinist Heidi Wilcox. The Redwood Virtuosi are musicians from the SF Symphony, SF Opera and Ballet Orchestras who come together to make music of all styles in an intimate setting. We will be performing a wide range of styles including the nature themed Haydn "Bird" quartet, Nocturne from Borodin quartet, as well as some beloved tunes from Broadway and Popular songs.
We invite you and the whole family to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and join us for this al fresco musical party. At the conclusion of the concert, we will celebrate with ice cream bars to sweeten the day!
Free admission, donations gratefully accepted.
