Special Services
Special services during Holy Week include celebratory worship on Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday musical cantata and silent communion, Good Friday witnesses for peace, Easter sunrise service, and Festival Easter celebration with orchestra, community Hallelujah Chorus. Children’s egg hunt following Easter worship.
Easter Sunrise Service
Each year we schedule our Easter Sunrise Service down by the Bay at precisely the hour of sunrise. Rain or shine we meet at Chavez Park for worship, singing, greeting the dawn of Easter, and sharing breakfast.
Cats, dogs, snakes, rabbits, fish, birds – all are welcome to this annual blessing and honoring of our animal companions.
Christmas Eve
Welcome Christmas at our early children’s/family service where you get to dress up and participate as your favorite character in the Christmas story. Or come late to a reflective service full of music and the glory of Christmas eve. Both services feature Christmas carols and candlelight.
New Year’s Eve
Mark the turning of the calendar year with an evening service of meditation, music, and prayer.
