Epworth Playgroups

                   

The Epworth Playgroups has provided a meeting place for new parents and their toddlers for over 35 years and is a great community resource! Children enjoy a quality play experience while their parents connect in a relaxed social environment. The program is open to anyone and is not religious in nature. NEW SATURDAY PLAYGROUP FOR CHILDREN WITH COMMUNICATION/SOCIAL DELAYS

Starting in January 2010, the Epworth Playgroups began a special playgroup on Saturdays tailored to meet the needs of pre-school aged children with speech/social delays. This group of four or five children plus one parent each, benefits from the services of a trained occupational therapist who meets on the first Saturday of each month with participants, training them in exercises and techniques on encouraging social and other skills. During the other weeks of the month, parents and children continue to meet and practice these skills.
